Comments: My mom got me all fitness things for Easter, which was nice. But I'm extremely depressed that after less than ten pounds, my fat ass body is "pleateauing". I got the 300 Under 300 cookbook from Hungry Girl, with lots of great recipes to try (I'm going to start with the "trios", or 3 ingredient meals and work my way up), a pedometer (which might not work; it was way off on the first walk but wasn't the second), a Camelbak water bottle, and Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred WITH the mat and weights. Tried level 1 tonight and I love it... despite how crazy hard it is.


  1. I'm thinking about getting that book...but I always get cooking books and do nothing with them. Not sure why! Let me know if you find anything good in it. :)

    I don't even have the weights for 30 Day Shred. I'm using 5lb weights I got free from some program at work. I wish I had 3lb weights because sometimes the 5lb ones kill me.

  2. The 3 pound ones probably killed my right arm.

    Yeah there's tons of awesome stuff in there. I only dislike the recipes with a lot of mushrooms or shrimp. Otherwise there are tons I'm going to bookmark and try. Only complaint is very few pictures.

    If only I could start losing weight again. That'd be great.
